The Lazy L in Willow Creek, Delaware was constructed expressly as a bed and breakfast, borrowing a name from the west. The Lazy L is great for the birdwatcher in him. Herons, osprey, and eagles come to life in the marsh. From the interior couch or the screen porch, take in the splendor of nature. Pets are welcome at this delightful three-story building.

There is a private cottage as well as five large rooms. The size of the Nature Room is larger than typical for a bed and breakfast. It features a queen-sized sleigh bed with a fantastic view of Red Mill Creek. Regarding the

second floor is the Lighthouse room. There is an alcove where you may put your beach gear in addition to the wide double windows that provide a great view. The Mermaid room is located on the second floor and has two rooms shared with the other rooms on this level. You have a great view of the Lazy L's front from this location. The Key West Room is located on the lower level.

 

The Key West room combines a walk-out patio and a sizable sitting space with the Flamingo room. The living section of the Flamingo room comes complete with all the cooking conveniences.   Take a seat on the

deck and take in the dawn or simply watch the ducks on the waterway. A small, private home affectionately named home in the Dog Run is exclusive to the Lazy L.

 

Along with the entire assortment of fruits and breads, the full-sized complementary breakfast includes indulgences like quiche and crepes. Head down to the stream and enjoy the day kayaking after a delicious breakfast. There is a heated swimming pool, hot tub, and pool table available if you like less strenuous pastimes. To further out the experience of being in nature, a picnic spot is also available.
